These are photographs of the property itself — the guest rooms, the open courtyard, the carved doorways and the view from the terrace over the old city of Udaipur towards Lake Pichola. Nothing here is a stock picture of somewhere else.
Most of the rooms photograph the same way they look: white lime-plastered walls, a black-and-white checkered stone floor, a carved wooden bed and a jharokha window with a cushioned seat cut into the thickness of the wall. The two categories differ mainly in size — the Deluxe and Super Heritage rooms are 130 and 180 square feet. The courtyard pictures are taken looking up through three floors of carved balconies; more on how the house is put together is on the haveli page.
